Interesting introductions

We have been focusing on writing reports in class. We each chose an animal we didn't know much about, did a bit of research and then wrote a report. Joe and Nathaniel have both written interesting introductions, trying to capture the reader and hook them in to their reports.

Tigers by Joe
Just imagine running through long grass trying to get out of the jungle and you didn't want to slow down. Why.... because a streak was chasing you. I'd be freaked out. But don't worry, that's not going to happen. Instead I am going to talk to you about tigers. Did you know tigers are the largest cat species reaching a body length of up to 3.38m.

Cheetahs by Nathaniel
Through the tall grass and splashing through the river. As waves crash against its smooth but soft fur it starts to lose sight of its predator. But wait the animal has found its food on the other side of the river. Hey wait a second, I know what animal it is..... it's a cheetah!
